Discover a wide range of options to dress and customize your female character just the way you like. For the body, you can change the skin, hairstyle, body shape, facial expression, and even the pose. Then, over 30 categories of clothing and accessories are available to style your character.
And that’s not all! You have full control over the backgrounds — add your own scenery, frames, text, stickers, platforms, walls, artistic effects, and even animals to create the perfect setting for your character.
You can also add your own backgrounds and even import your own outfits (available only in the “supporter” version).
Female Forge uses an image layering system that allows you to combine elements and create a unique style. (This is not a 3D game.)
You can also unlock secret outfits by fulfilling certain conditions, synthesize clothing using a synthesizer, try your luck by spinning the mask wheel, mine cryptocurrency that you can then spend on the black market, or use the Nanoshell constructor to create a second skin based on nanoparticles.

Using an SSD is strongly recommended for an optimal experience.
(Widescreens are not currently supported, so there will be black bars on the left and right.)
Major updates will be released every 4 months (approximately). In between, minor updates will address bugs and issues. Occasionally, these minor updates may introduce new content, but not consistently.
Female Forge relies on layered images, requiring a large number of pre-rendered images (currently over 14 000). This is why I’m now offering a paid version called "Supporter", which provides more content and features than the base version and is designed to support the development of FF.
This version will be expanded with each new update and will also include additional saves with pre-made characters as well as custom backgrounds and custom outfits.
Finally, when the final version of FF is released, everyone who purchased the "Supporter" version will have access to all content at no additional cost.

- Why does my game crash when clicking the Launch button from the main menu?
This is probably due to a lack of RAM. Make sure you have enough RAM available when running Female Forge. It is also important that your C: drive is not full. Because if you have a small lack of RAM then Windows will use the virtual memory (PageFile) of your C: drive.
- How many character variations can be created?
An astronomical number!
If we don’t take poses and colors into account, there are 3.3 × 10⁴¹ possible variations. However, I don’t highlight this figure too much, since most of these variations aren’t necessarily visually interesting.
- How to turn the camera?
You can't, Female Forge is a game that uses only pre-rendered PNG images. So there is no camera. (However, you can move, mirror, or zoom the character)
- I bought an item on the black market, but it is still unavailable, what should I do?
This is an occasional issue. Click the Reset button (left panel) to reload the content or simply restart the game.
- Is it possible to add more characters?
Yes, it’s possible, but only in the supporter version by using the “Custom backgrounds” folder.
Simply create your first character and use Female Forge’s screenshot function in landscape mode.
Then, retrieve your screenshot from the folder of the same name located at the root of the game, and place it into the “Custom backgrounds” folder.
You can now add your first character as a background and create the second character.
This process can be repeated as many times as you like.

I already posted a comment here a year ago, but I'm posting another one to say that the game is extremely well-maintained, and I still get so much enjoyment from creating new characters. In fact, it's even become an essential tool for me when designing characters for roleplaying. So thank you for everything, keep up the good work, and I hope it will be released on Steam someday.

Hi, I bought the supporter pack almost a year ago, and wanted to redownload it again for any current updates, but when I try to do it, it only shows the free version. Is there something I am doing wrong?

Its a cheaper alternative then Poser and Daz3D with a lot of limitations but i sincerely support ideas like his one hoping that it still will be build out with extra faces, cosmetics, especially poses please and of course clothing...I like the black market idea of gaining currency to buy extra's...keeps you coming back to fullfill the necessary "quests"...It's a neat program, good quality although the backgrounds are always blurry...intentional ??? Also i would like an enhanced zoom if possible for close up's bigger then now...I have comments on the mini game yet since i barely collected enough to make the node work and create those special costumes...All in all i am very comfortable with my purchase and i hope you keep up the updates...I am very interested where this still can lead to...Thank you for the effort...
BTW one question : what about the mods ??? Can you download them into the program and what are they ?

Hello,
Yes, Female Forge is a kind of alternative for those who are not familiar with software like Daz3D. It allows them to customize a female model in a simple way, even with a low-end computer.
Yes, development is still ongoing: I’m currently working on version MK5, but for now I don’t yet know when it will be released.
The backgrounds are intentionally blurred, as it creates a small depth effect and highlights the character more (this is what’s called DOF → Depth of Field). But you can add your own backgrounds if you wish, in ‘Backgrounds custom’.
As for the zoom, I could increase its limit, but that would make the character very pixelated. Each pre-render is in 4K with crunched compression (to prevent the game from weighing more than 100 GB). But when zooming in too far, the compression becomes visible and it looks really bad. That’s why I’ve set this zoom limit.
Mods allow you to create and import your own outfits. A small tutorial is available in the Modding -> Resource -> Help folder.

Hello,
Mods are outfits you've created. These can be outfits you've designed yourself, or outfits you've crafted using the 5,000 PNGs provided in a separate folder (supporter only). Some knowledge of software like Photoshop or Gimp is required. Once created they can be added and loaded into the game.

Due to its internal structure, Female Forge is currently impossible to port to mobile.
However, I am thinking about a lighter version (dedicated to small hardware configuration) and less RAM-hungry, because FF uses PNGs in 4k (ideal on 2160p screens) and it is indeed quite heavy, but the problem is that to make FF lighter, I will have to reduce the resolution of the PNGs and this will greatly affect the visual quality and will be usable in correct conditions only on a 1080p screens.
In any case, the "Lite" version is an interesting idea and thank you for your comment.
I recently purchased the supporter version on my Windows computer. After downloading it from the Mega and extracting it with WinRAR it and then opening the .exe, it crashes every time after selecting the launch button, never reaching above 0%. I have also tried the free version with the same trouble, I have deleted and redownloaded still to no avail. Any help?

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble launching. May I know how much RAM you have? And how much free space you have on your C: drive?
It is important to have enough free space on the C drive because if there isn't enough available RAM, Female Forge will use the virtual memory on the C drive by default (unless you have moved the pagefile to another drive).
Do you ever intend on making a steam release?

Hello, there are currently 5 shapes available (Normal, Curvy, Chubby, Normal and Muscular, Curvy and Muscular).
The shapes modify among other things the size of the breasts and the size of the hips.
A must-have of the genre, a very complete dress-up game compared to what this type of game usually offers, plus it is regularly updated, so keep it up and thank you for what you do.
Hi, thank you very much, I'm glad you like FF, I spend a lot of time developing it and this kind of comment motivates me enormously, THANK YOU for your support.
The game I was looking for, during several years ! And I found it by chance when I was looking for something else.
So I am well placed to say that this is the best dressing game on the internet that is not dedicated to young girl (you know what I mean). The amont of choices (clothes, underwear, haircut, bodies, etc.) would be already decent for a finished game at this price, but the game is still young and it looks like there's gonna be regular updates, so it's very promising.
What I particularly apreciate is the color system, wich allows you to use any color you like, and not just pick a color beetween 4 or 5 predeterminated colors. It would be perfect if you can enter manualy an hexadecimal code, but it's just my liking.
The possibility to set the opacity of literally everithing is also a good feature.
And of course, the rendering is very nice.
What can be improve ?
A last recomandation for the dev : I qualified earlier this game as a "dressing game", because for me it's what it is. I think it could be benefical for you to add the "dressing game" tag in the description.

For the hexadecimal values of the colors I have experimented with this system and it is not reliable because each item of clothing or accessory has a shade of gray that is different, so using hexadecimal values is not effective.
For the scroll bars I understand that when there are a lot of elements they are not very practical, but you are not obliged to use it because you can scroll as if you were scrolling on a smartphone touch screen, that is to say by clicking on one of the elements (or between) and sliding from right to left, this method is more precise.
For the coats I have just done some testing and for the moment it is difficult to implement because it poses a problem for the majority of the clothes when superimposing.
For sneakers or flat-soled shoes, it is also complicated to implement because FF is based on image superpositions, having sneakers modifies the pose of the feet and makes incompatible all the other elements linked to the foot like tights for example (I will see if I can find a solution to this).
For the expressions, I will try to improve them in the future.
And finally, I added the tag "dress up game".

yes as updates go on some elements that were exclusive to the supporter version will become accessible from the free version, but with each update content will be added to the supporter version in order to expand this version as a priority. On the other hand, some elements such as cosplay outfits will only remain accessible via the supporter version. If you have any other questions, I remain at your disposal.

How do i unlock other shapes and poses

For now in the MK1 version there are only 2 shapes and 4 poses, but the MK2 version which comes out on August 29 will add new ones.

the game seems to insist on running on the wrong monitor, when i unplug it it goes to another even more wrong monitor. please add the ability to change what monitor the game is running on, or at least change it so it prefers monitors in the reverse order to what it does now.. without the ability to do that i currently cant even try it.

indeed this can sometimes be a problem, the solution for the moment is simply to do an "Alt" + "Enter" to put the game in window mode, then move the window to the desired screen with the mouse and then redo an "Alt" + "Enter" to return the game to full screen. Then, during the next launches, the game should systematically launch on the correct screen.

SO-03 = Secret Outfit 03.
To unlock this outfit you will need to equip yourself with 3 elements (top - bottom - shoes) which resembles the SO-03 thumbnail.
